Feed My Starving Children

    Dear Volunteers,

    The 2011 Community Service Event will once again be the "Feed My Starving Children".

    Your gift of time and energy will make a difference in the lives of thousands of children. You will have a unique opportunity to discover how the simple, hands-on action of packaging nutritious meals deepens everyone's sense of spirit and community. At the same time, you will make a real difference in the lives of desperate children in desperate lands.

    We've heard from many past volunteers of this experience - including the thousands of kids who help - that their experience was made more powerful when they supported our mission in ways beyond volunteering. For example, volunteers have found that our Pledges For Hope Program lets them engage friends, relatives, neighbors and co-workers in this life-giving mission.
