With the gracious support of Craig and Connie Johnson, we have formally changed the name of the scholarship to Minnesota Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association Past Presidents’ Endowed Scholarship. The name change reflects the desire of the Board to recognize and honor the past leaders of our Chapter.

   The first honoree was Pete Hoffman, who was one of the founding members of the chapter who sadly lost his long battle with cancer in July 2012. We thank Pete for the tireless efforts he gave to starting the "Penn State Club" back in the late 1970s. Starting in 2017, the Board decided to name the scholarship in honor of all past presidents without calling one out by name.
