What’s New
- July 1, 2014:
- Holy Schnikes! Did we really go 2-1/2 years without any updates? Nah! It was just a case of the webmaster falling asleep on the job and not keeping this "What's New" list updated. Does anyone even look at this? Well, here's a huge bonus to the first person who not only looks at this, but also reads this! Contact our Webmaster and inform him that you're looking forward to receiving a free year of dues to the PSAA Minnesota Chapter! Congrats, and thanks for reading this!
- So obviously a lot has changed in the past 2+ years so I'm not going to attempt to recount all of the changes, but here's what I just got done changing on this given date:
- Redid the CSS file which fixed a major issue with how the site was getting viewed on tablets and mobile phones. The site has now been tested on an iPhone5 and iPad, in both horizontal and vertical modes and everything renders smoothly finally. We'll need to find other folks with those 'Droid devices to see how the site renders there. (Funny, it was 7 years ago when I switched this from a fixed format to a fluid format, and now needed to change it back essentially.
- Updated the Board Members page with the recent departures of Matt & Julie Fisher, Kelly Gordon and Brian Varner. We'll miss them a lot and wish them the best of luck in their moves. - Added live @psumn twitter feed to the homepage.
- September 30, 2011:
- Updated the home page with the remainder of the PSU Football schedule.
- Updated the Photos page with recent event photos.
- Updated the Annual Herbie Awards.
- Updated the Board Members page with new members Dean Creighton and Brian Varner.
- July 10, 2011:
- The better question here is, what isn't new as of today? We updated a lot of dates for upcoming events such as the Annual Summer BBQ Picnic, the Annual Big Ten Alumni Softball Tournament and the first few football TV Tailgates. Plus lots of other small updates around the site.
- January 25, 2011:
- Updated the home page with our Annual Dinner information on March 13, 2011.
- Updated the Board Documents page with past FMSC certificates and the 2011 Annual Dinner Form.
- Updated the Scholarship Campaign page with our current fundraising efforts.

- April 23, 2010:
- Updated the homepage with some very important information regarding our fundraising efforts for the Daniel S. Johnson Scholarship Endowment. Also put up a very late blurb on our Community Service Event, Feed My Starving Children.

- Made a number of small little revisions around the site that were each minor in of their own.
- Updated the Board Members page: Dan Gordon has taken the vacant Treasurer's position and Mick Kuban stepped down from the Board to spend more time with family. Thanks Mick for all your years of service.

- Posted the 2008 Annual Newsletter online. They will be mailed to all homes in Minnesota with registered addresses with the parent Alumni Association. If you do not receive this newsletter, please contact the Alumni Association to update your mailing address.

- Added the Lady Lions Basketball game vs Minnesota onto the events calendar.

- More tweaks to the menu bar. The "News" page has been moved underneath the "Events" and was renamed as "Event Recaps" to more accurately reflect the information being posted. Also, the Board Members and Board Documents has been consolidated under "Executive Board". A new section called "MN Resources" has been added. If you have any comments or suggestions about the revisions, please let me hear from you.
- Added the 101 Things To Do in Minnesota page. Special thanks to everyone who helped contribute to this page - we believe this will become an invaluable resource to many in the future. It will be an eternally evolving page.
- Added the Minnesota Vanity Plates page.
- October 3, 2007:
- Updated the yearly calendar to include all PSU sporting events that will take place in Minnesota during the 2007-2008 school year.

- Removed any mention of the PSU-Michigan Football Roadtrip from the website - we're going to pretend that the ugly game never happened.

- Major site redesign, but it’s mostly under the hood. The most visible change is the new title bar and static PSU image in the background, but the most far-reaching one is the change from a fixed-width layout to browser-width (flexible).
The “old” site was designed for users with 800x600 displays, but the majority of visitors these days have 1024x768 (or larger). Hence the update, which gives me a lot more flexibility on various things.
The site is now heavily dependent upon CSS, so the changes were involved several days/weeks of work. Still, I have lots of work left to do: new graphics, new error pages, and a laundry list of other things.
